Family Art Days

Free and open to the public

Designed to inspire creativity and encourage families to make art together, Family Art Days at the Museum occur on the third Sunday of every month in the Packing House atrium. They also take place the Sunday of an exhibition opening, with the art making theme tied in with the new exhibition. These casual, "walk-up and make art" events feature new activities each month, inspired by upcoming holidays or the Museum's current exhibits. This is a great way for families to spend creative time together. We provide the materials and our volunteers will help you get started, but the finished masterpiece is up to you. Three levels of difficulty offer a fun challenge for children as well as adults as you explore and interact with the art works by looking closely at them to identify colors and shapes.

Docent-led group tours may be scheduled for a minimum of 10 visitors by contacting Lori Evans Lama, Director of Education and Public Programs at: lel@claremontmuseum.org.
