The Claremont Museum of Art continues its mission to promote the arts in Claremont without walls. The Museum holds numerous events, family art projects and exhibitions at various locations throughout the year. The focus for 2011 is to move forward with our Education Program. As funding for school art programs shrink, we feel that the Museum can fill an important role in providing art education to Claremont youth through our three education projects: Family Art activities, the ArtX student art competition and Project Art/StART. And, as we gradually reorganize, we look toward building an endowment to support an exhibition space in the future.
